This condition profoundly affects various aspects of an individual's life, including physical, emotional, psychological, cognitive, and social well-being. Following a stroke, many individuals experience reduced independence and mobility, which significantly detracts from their quality of life. Often, they face self-care deficits and require assistance to gradually regain the ability to perform activities of daily living (ADL) independently. This study aims to elucidate the strong relationship between ADL independence and the quality of life of post-ischemic stroke patients at Abdul Aziz Hospital in Singkawang City. Employing an analytic observational design with a cross-sectional approach, the research involved a sample of 60 respondents selected from the Neurology Polyclinic at RSUD dr. Abdul Aziz through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using the Spearman Rank test with a 95% confidence level. The results indicate a significant relationship between ADL independence and the quality of life of these patients, as demonstrated by a p-value of 0.000 (p < α) and a correlation strength of 0.514, categorized as moderate (0.40 – 0.599). The research method used is a non-experimental quantitative research type with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 124 students. The research instruments included a questionnaire that measured the intensity of Instagram usage using a scale adapted from previous researchers and the perception of ideal body image using the Multidimensional Body Self-Relations Questionnaire (MBSRQ) measuring instrument. The test results using SPSS version 25, the characteristics of the respondents were mostly female (72.6%), the intensity of Instagram usage and adolescents' perceptions about body image were in the moderate category, 73.4% and 60.5%, respectively. The results of the Spearman rank test showed a p value of 0.004 (<0.05) so that H1 was accepted and H2 was rejected. Thus, there is an influence between the intensity of Instagram use and ideal body image with a significance value of 0.004 <0.05, so it can be concluded that the two variables are correlated with a correlation coefficient value of 0.259, which means that the level of relationship between the two variables is in a very weak relationship.
2024-10-30T07:59:21+07:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://jurnal.itekesmukalbar.ac.id/index.php/JK2/article/view/392EKSTRAK JAHE DAN KOMBINASI EKSTRAK JAHE DENGAN NERVE GLIDING EXERCISE UNTUK MENURUNKAN NYERI PERGELANGAN TANGAN2024-10-30T10:14:07+07:00Prit Fiastiningrumnurulfatwati90@gmail.comNurul Fatwati Fitriananurulfatwati90@gmail.com
Wrist pain is a condition where an individual experiences discomfort in the wrist, which both traumatic and non-traumatic factors can cause. Non-traumatic wrist pain often results from inflammation in the tissues around the carpal tunnel, leading to its narrowing. This condition is commonly seen in activities that involve prolonged and repetitive hand movements, such as in batik artisans. This study aimed to determine the effect of ginger extract and the combination of ginger extract with nerve gliding exercise on wrist pain in batik artisans in Papringan Village, Banyumas. This study employed a pre-experimental design with a two-group pretest-posttest approach. The population consisted of batik artisans in Papringan Village, with a sample size of 20 individuals selected using a total sampling technique. Data analysis included both univariate and bivariate analyses. The study found a significant effect of ginger extract and the combination of ginger extract with nerve gliding exercise on reducing wrist pain. Wrist pain experienced a reduction and had a substantial effect, as evidenced by a high correlation coefficient.
2024-10-30T08:00:19+07:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://jurnal.itekesmukalbar.ac.id/index.php/JK2/article/view/355BERSUCI DAN BERIBADAH SHALAT BAGI PASIEN LUKA BAKAR2024-11-09T13:11:08+07:00Fathul Khairkhoir@stikmuhptk.ac.idKharisma Pratamakharisma@stikmuhptk.ac.id
This study aims to examine procedures for purifying and performing prayers for patients with severe burns, who often have physical limitations so they cannot perform worship using conventional methods. Using a qualitative descriptive approach with content analysis techniques and library research, this research provided a guidance for patients with severe burns in worship. The research results show three main points: first, the condition of patients with severe burns occurs as an emergency or near emergency, where patients are not advised to come into contact with air or make many movements. Second, patients in this condition are allowed to replace ablution with tayammum as a way of purifying themselves. Third, considering their physical limitations, patients are allowed to pray with adapted movements, for example praying in a sitting, lying position, or whatever is possible. This research is important to ensure that patients with severe burns can still carry out their worship according to Islamic regulations, even in limited physical conditions.
2024-11-09T13:11:08+07:00##submission.copyrightStatement##
