The training process faces challenges, including limited space, incomplete attendance, and scheduling issues. This study aimed to analyze the gaps in training at Hermina Hospital Bogor, using both quantitative and qualitative methods from March to May 2023. Qualitative data were gathered through interviews with three key informants, selected via purposive sampling, and observations of the training process. Quantitative data were obtained from implementation surveys and pre-post tests for the Isolation Awareness training, involving 31 participants. Qualitative analysis used content analysis, while the Wilcoxon test was applied for quantitative data. The training process includes needs assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Training needs are identified through gap analysis, covering issues raised in morning meetings, unit evaluation results, and proposals from stakeholders, competencies performance gaps. Implementation challenges include rescheduling and participant absence. Online training faces additional barriers, such as a lack of computers and poor internet connectivity. This condition profoundly affects various aspects of an individual's life, including physical, emotional, psychological, cognitive, and social well-being. Following a stroke, many individuals experience reduced independence and mobility, which significantly detracts from their quality of life. Often, they face self-care deficits and require assistance to gradually regain the ability to perform activities of daily living (ADL) independently. This study aims to elucidate the strong relationship between ADL independence and the quality of life of post-ischemic stroke patients at Abdul Aziz Hospital in Singkawang City. Employing an analytic observational design with a cross-sectional approach, the research involved a sample of 60 respondents selected from the Neurology Polyclinic at RSUD dr. Abdul Aziz through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using the Spearman Rank test with a 95% confidence level. The results indicate a significant relationship between ADL independence and the quality of life of these patients, as demonstrated by a p-value of 0.000 (p < α) and a correlation strength of 0.514, categorized as moderate (0.40 – 0.599). This study employed a pre-experimental design with a two-group pretest-posttest approach. The population consisted of batik artisans in Papringan Village, with a sample size of 20 individuals selected using a total sampling technique. Data analysis included both univariate and bivariate analyses. The study found a significant effect of ginger extract and the combination of ginger extract with nerve gliding exercise on reducing wrist pain. Using a qualitative descriptive approach with content analysis techniques and library research, this research provided a guidance for patients with severe burns in worship. The research results show three main points: first, the condition of patients with severe burns occurs as an emergency or near emergency, where patients are not advised to come into contact with air or make many movements. Second, patients in this condition are allowed to replace ablution with tayammum as a way of purifying themselves. Third, considering their physical limitations, patients are allowed to pray with adapted movements, for example praying in a sitting, lying position, or whatever is possible. This research is important to ensure that patients with severe burns can still carry out their worship according to Islamic regulations, even in limited physical conditions.
Fathul Khair, Kharisma Pratama ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://jurnal.itekesmukalbar.ac.id/index.php/JK2/article/view/355 Sat, 09 Nov 2024 13:11:08 +0700
